Aforementioned Chilean guitarist's debut album "Journey Into the Fourth Dimension" (2006) included very fast music, and its result appeared in 2007 when Guinness World Records recognized him as the "Fastest Guitar Player" world record holder. On his second CD, Jose played acoustic and electric guitars, electric coral sitar and keys, however one track was sung by a woman of angelic voice - Natalia Molina.
This time Jose decided to take us on a musical journey back to baroque with such giants of that period like Antonio Vivaldi, Henry Purcell, Johann Sebastian Bach, Gaspar Sanz, Georg Philipp Telemann and Del Rio's original compositions. Most of them are calm and slow with a court climate typical of baroque, however there are also mad, impetuous, furious, striking, biting, cutting, flaming, precise and played with verve compositions. Playing aforementioned composers' sonatas, arias, minuets, suites and concertos is a grandiose task, but Jose did it very well. If you like classical music on acoustic guitar performed with gentle flourishes, "Acoustic Evolution & Selected Pieces" is a good offer for you.
