Aforementioned album is the absolute instrumental crime committed by three virtuosos-criminals: Ron Jarzombek (guitar; Watchtower, Spastic Ink, S.A. Slayer, Gordian Knot, Marty Friedman), Alex Webster (bass guitar; Cannibal Corpse, Hate Eternal) and Charlie Zeleny (drums; Behold... The Arctopus, Jordan Rudess). Although this gang was founded in 2005, his debut killing was made only in the year 2007. The man who shares the responsibility for mastering this crime is Jacob Hansen (cooperated with other bandits of Volbeat, Destruction and Raunchy). All of them are being wanted and still at liberty. By writing this review, I hope to help the police grasp aforementioned technical highwaymen!

They are best recognizable by their way of playing. It is extremely intense and heavy and can be classed as instrumental death metal with jazz/fusion touch and melodic solos. In other words, their musical killing machine produces a complex, experimental and bit extreme tones. They are distinguished by using original effects, unprecedented tricks and absolute precision in assaulting our innocent ears. This stuff bursts at the seams with technical instrumentals.

Mr. Jarzombek has never sunk into obscurity, however, like all of us and his partners in crime, he is not perfect and this time he made an inexcusable mistake by not inviting a grand keyboard virtuoso-criminal from Sweden, Lalle Larsson. That man is famous for his electric cartoon crimes committed along with Todd Duane and Peter Wildoer (Darkane) under the name of Electrocution 250. I am absolutely sure that this musical crime tool would be much more lethal, if Ron recruited Lalle of the Electrocution 250 commando!

Another matter are side effects that can appear while listening to "The Machinations Of Dementia". If your brain start jumping in your skull, don't worry - it is only response to nice triggers following from this insane music! If you want to ameliorate the stressful effects, it is advisable to read the Walt Disney comic books during the listening. It will be a fatal combination, haha!

Well, I must admit that "The Machinations Of Dementia" is another masterpiece of cinematic mood committed by Ron and his crazy dudes. There are some rivals to the throne of mad kingdom like A Triggering Myth, Behold... The Arctopus, Scale The Summit or lone warriors like Denis Vlachiotis, Muhammed Suicmez and some other instrumental axe-butchers, but for now Ron 'Bambi' Jarzombek is the King of All Guitar Freaks!
