Do you think that the effect of music can be curable? I am of the opinion that listening to our favourite music can help with alleviate the results of serious diseases. Some people can't express their outlook or believes with words, so the best substitute for speech becomes an unverbal way of communication called music. All sensations experienced by listening to our favourite music cause endorphines production in human's brain. Endorphines are substances that act like painkillers.

It's far better to listen to beautiful music than being stuffed with drugs which both cure and destroy our system. Doctor Oliver Sachs, an American neurologist and lecturer at the Columbia University in New York, explains it more precisely in his book titled "Musicophilia. The Tales of Music and the Brain". I can only add that if we could express all our feelings and needs with words, music would be unnecessary. Music has existed for so many ages what proves it is very important to the humankind.
